My foreign address is formatted incorrectly on my tax return
The format of foreign address must comply with the IRS e-Filing validation requirements. For example, the zip code must contain only digits and must be between five and nine digits in length. Due to the specificity of these requirements, in some cases the city must be listed twice.
If you would prefer to e-File, we’ll leave the address the way it is so the IRS will accept it. Alternatively, we can change the address format but you’ll need to mail a paper copy of your return to the IRS.
