I don't have a scanned copy of a document that you need. What can I do?
You have a number of options available to you for scanning documents. You can:
- Find an internet cafe or a copy shop (such as FedEx Copying and Printing Services, Staples, or similar shops). They’ll be able to scan your documents and copy them to a USB stick for you at a reasonable price.
- If you have a smartphone, you can use a free app called CamScanner (available for iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone). It will allow you to take a photo of your document and convert it to a PDF file which you can then email to yourself and then upload to our Tax Questionnaire.
We generally work with scanned copies of documents. If you would like us to process hard copies sent to our office, we charge a $300 processing fee. Note - if we are enlisted for representation services and have a power of attorney on file for you, we would receive IRS letters on your behalf included in the service.
