The formatting of foreign addresses must adhere to the IRS e-filing validation requirements. This means that certain criteria must be met, such as the zip code containing only digits and being between five and nine digits long. In some cases, the city may need to be listed twice to meet these requirements.

If you choose to e-file your return, we will keep the address as is to ensure acceptance by the IRS. Alternatively, we can modify the address format, but you will be required to mail a paper copy of your return to the IRS.
