We always strive to implement tax-saving strategies when preparing your tax documents. If you owe taxes, we will provide a detailed explanation of the amount owed for federal and/or state taxes, the reasons behind the owed amount, and your eligible refund amount.
To access this explanation, please follow these steps:
Navigate to the Documents > Documents TFX Prepared tab.
At the top of the page, you will see the calculated federal and state tax amounts due for all the years you have prepared with TFX, as well as your eligible refund amount.
Click the Expand link to discover the tax-saving methods that were employed and a list of the reasons contributing to your owed tax.
Click Collapse to hide the additional information.
❗ Important note: if you have a tax due after your tax return has been prepared, you are required to make the payment directly to the IRS or the relevant state authority. This obligation is now clearly highlighted in the final instructions, as we have added a distinctive label to ensure your awareness of this important requirement.
