Promo codes for new clients

New clients can now receive a $50 credit by applying a promo code during the sign-up process.

How it works:

  1. While browsing our website, visitors may see a pop-up with an offer to save $50 on their first tax filings with TFX.

  2. Enter your email address and we will email you a unique promo code.

  3. Use this code during sign-up to instantly receive a $50 credit toward TFX services.

  4. Click Get started in the right top corner of our website.

  5. Select your sign-up method.

  6. On the page where we ask for your first and last name, click "Have a promo code? Click here".

    ⚠ Note: if you selected a Google or Apple sign-up method, you won't be asked about the password. You will see a slightly different window:

  7. Enter the promo code we emailed you and click Confirm.

  8. Click Create account after the promo code is accepted.

  9. Finish the sign-up process.

  10. Navigate to Bills & payments > Payment > Tax year. You will see the automatically applied $50 credit.

❗ Important notes:

  1. Existing clients are not eligible for this offer.

  2. If you are a new client and forgot to enter the promo code during registration, you can provide it to our Customer Success team, who will manually apply a $50 credit to your profile.

  3. Administrators can remove incorrectly applied promo codes if necessary.

  4. If you see a warning message: "Invalid promo code", please double-check the email we sent you. Simply copy and paste the code without spaces.
