After signing up and saving a phone number in your TFX account, you will be prompted to verify it. Phone number verification is crucial for confirming your identity, particularly during suspicious login attempts. It is also a requirement for enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to secure access to your TFX account. Furthermore, we employ both SMS and WhatsApp reminders to notify you about filing deadlines, especially when email communication is not working.

To verify your phone number, have your cell phone ready and choose one of the following verification methods:

Important note: whenever you make changes to your phone numbers in your Account settings, the system will prompt you to re-verify them.

SMS message

To verify your phone number via an SMS message, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the banner labeled 'Verify phone number to increase account security' on the Home page and click the Verify by SMS button.

Alternatively, go to Account settings, scroll down to the Phone & SMS section, and click the Verify by SMS button located under the unverified phone number.

  2. Enter the PIN code sent via SMS and click Submit.

Note: if you didn't receive the PIN code, you can click the Didn't receive PIN code link and choose one of the options:

    • To select another verification method, choose Send code by WhatsApp.

    • To modify a phone number, select Edit number.

    • To manually verify your phone number if none of the verification methods work, select Verify it's my number.

  3. Once your phone number is verified, the banner labeled 'Verify phone number to increase account security' will disappear on the Home page. On the Account settings page, the red NOT VERIFIED sign will turn into a green VERIFIED one.

WhatsApp message

To verify your phone number via a WhatsApp message, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the banner labeled 'Verify phone number to increase account security' on the Home page and click the Verify by WhatsApp button.

Alternatively, go to Account settings, scroll down to the Phone & SMS section, and click the Verify by WhatsApp button located under the unverified phone number.

  2. Enter the PIN code sent via a WhatsApp message and click Submit.

Note: if you didn't receive the PIN code, you can click the Didn't receive PIN code link and choose one of the options:

    • To select another verification method, choose Send code by SMS.

    • To modify a phone number, select Edit number.

    • To manually verify your phone number if none of the verification methods work, select Verify it's my number.

  3. Once your phone number is verified, the banner labeled 'Verify phone number to increase account security' on the Home page will disappear, and the red NOT VERIFIED sign on the Account settings page will turn into a green VERIFIED one.
